KARABA - ALL HIGH WAYS (2023)

On Karabas third studio album "All High Ways" the band compensates for the pieces of music that were already composed and created during the time of the two previous studio albums and actual compositions. Thanks to the support of Initiative Musik now it was possible for the first time to record those pieces and press them onto double vinyl LP, so that they could be preserved. "All High Ways" is a musical mixture of jazzrock, krautrock and progressive rock with musical references of the Canterbury Scene. A sonic taste experience traversed by Zappa-esque frescoes and haunting grooves in wich the listeners lands on Karabas deepened and humorous soundscapes.

KARABA - PHEREMON CRUMBLE WAX EP (2020)

In 2020, the Berlin based Neo-Jazz label Kyptox released Karabas Pheremon Crumble Wax EP. It is a flourishing mix of kraut jazz that is specific to Karaba. Partly meditative tracks like the 2019 opener track "Der Inder" from the "Kraut Jazz Futurism" compilation by Kryptox provide a friendly connection with progressive and jazzy songs like "Levent" or "Gentrification", which give this EP a surprising and fresh face.

KARABA - LIVE IN VIENNA (2020)

KARABAs Live in Vienna live album was released in the year 2020 on the Adasonia Records label. This vinyl captured an unforgettable evening. Karaba had the honor of playing as support for Damo Suzuki Network in Vienna. This unique concert album was mastered by Eroc from the band Grobschnitt. It also includes previously unreleased songs.

KARABA - SCHWESTER MONDREAL (2018)

The second vinyl album by Karaba hits the needle with some more eclectic and almost zappaesk work. Pushing the journey through some strange but humorous soundscapes, while never losing focus on instrumental storytelling. Eyes closed, the pilgrimage starts, sucks you in and spits you out on the hard surface of „der G.A.U“.
A gem on this wax: Ozmoze, a +13 min improvisation feat. Marja Burchard on vibraphone.

KARABA - KARABA DEBUT ALBUM (2014)

Karaba started as a pure jam formation, playing their way from Munich’s public parks and underground hideouts to local clubs and venues. In the meantime, they became close friends with the legendary Embryo, an encounter that had a big influence on the groups sound, along with their growing enthusiasm for the likes of Soft Machine and Kraan. The self- titled, debut album contains early material from that era and offers a colorful mix of krautrock, psychedelic and progressive rock.
